Cymryd rhan #StandWithSalman | Take part in #StandWithSalman: Darlleniadau i Salman Rushdie | Readings for Salman Rushdie

Yn dilyn yr ymosodiad arno ar Awst 12fed, rydym yn gofyn i aelodau o PEN Cymru i  gefnogi  Salman Rushdie ac awduron eraill ar draws y byd  i amddiffyn rhyddid mynegiant drwy ddarlleniadau o’i waith.

Felly a wnewch chi wneud fideo byr ohonoch eich hun (2 munud)  o’r ‘ Satanic  Verses’ neu unrhyw beth arall o waith Rushdie: nofelau, ysgrifau,  areithiau ac yn y blaen a’u hanfon at walespencymru@gmail.com

Bydd y fideos yn cael eu postio ar y wefan ar y dudalen hon. Hefyd, os hoffech wneud unrhyw sylwadau  ar y llyfr neu ar unrhyw agwedd arall o ryddid mynegiant.

Mae darlleniadau o’r ‘ The Satanic  Verses’ wedi bod yn  digwydd ledled y byd ac felly hoffem i Gymru fod yn rhan o’r ymdrech hon a chael y cyfle i fod yn rhan o’r  gweithgaredd. Anfonwn ein dymuniadau gorau i Salman Rushdie a’n gobaith yw y caiff  adferiad llawn a buan.

#StandWithSalman

Following his stabbing on August 12th, we are asking all members of WPC to stand in solidarity with Salmon Rushdie and other writers around the world in their defence of freedom of speech.

We are asking WPC members to video themselves reading a short excerpt (up to 2 minutes) from “The Satanic Verses” or from any other of Rushdie’s writing; novels, essays, lectures, speeches etc. which will be posted here. Please send to: walespencymru@gmail.com. Please also, if you wish, send in any comments you have on the book and on the issues surrounding freedom of speech.

We send our best wishes to Salman Rushdie and our hope that he makes a speedy and full recovery.

In partnership with Wales Arts Review.
