Dros y flwyddyn ddiwethaf, mae pob awdur yng Nghymru wedi cael rhyw brofiad o fyw ‘dan glo’ – ond yn y sesiwn hon dan nawdd PEN Cymru, cawn ein hatgoffa o beth yw byw mewn caethiwed go iawn.

Mae Nedim Türfent, Ilhan Comak (Twrci/Cwrdistan), Stella Nyanzi (Uganda), Galal el Behairy (yr Aifft) a Varavara Rao (India) i gyd yn awduron sydd wedi eu carcharu ar gam.

Ymunwch â Rhys Iorwerth, Judith Musker-Turner, Iwan Rhys ac Ifor ap Glyn i ddathlu rhyddid mynegiant ac i glywed cyfieithiadau Cymraeg o waith yr awduron uchod am y tro cyntaf.

I gael gwybodaeth am ble i ysgrifennu a chymorth gyda chynnwys addas, anfonwch e-bost at pensgwennu@gmail.com

Cynhaliwyd y digwyddiad ar y 23ain o Ebrill 2021.

During the last year, we’ve all had some experience of living ‘under lockdown’ – but in this session, organised by WalesPEN Cymru, we’ll be reminded of what it really means to live under lock and key.

Nedim Türfent, Ilhan Comak (Turkey/Kurdistan), Stella Nyanzi (Uganda), Galal el Behairy (Egypt) and Varavara Rao (India) are all writers who have been wrongfully imprisoned.

Join Rhys Iorwerth, Judith Musker-Turner, Iwan Rhys and Ifor ap Glyn in a celebration of freedom of expression, as they present work from the above writers in Welsh translation, for the first time.

For information on where to write and help with suitable content please email pensgwennu@gmail.com.

The Welsh language event was held on the 23rd of April 2021.
